First International Karting Race
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Royal Image would like to thank you for your participation and efforts in the First Abu Dhabi International Karting Race.
Within a time frame of only 45 days the committee, sponsors and teams pulled together to put on an impressive display. Feed back from the racing team managers were extremely positive especially regarding organization and safety standards. We are proud that you helped us bring together 25 teams from home and abroad to make this a race of international standing in the Karting world.
Coverage by newspapers, television and radio was good, however we aim for far greater publicity for future events. Now that the first crucial stage of establishing the race as a viable event has been achieved we will have the time to plan extensive media coverage well in advance.
The main patrons of the event, his Excellency Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Hazaa Bin Sultan Al Nahyan aim to see the race continue as a regular event on a larger scale with additional activities to make this a real family day. The race was attended by a number of Excellencies who are well aware of and appreciate the generous sponsorship and participation of all concerned.
Once again, thank you for your tremendous help and efforts in making this first race a success. We look forward to working together again towards making the Second Abu Dhabi International Karting Race even bigger and better.
